Why is the agent free if you sell a £14.99 report?

Because the agent's value lives in the conversation — and conversations are short. The Pro Report is for when you want a structured, written, dated artefact: something you can share with a partner, take to a broker, or revisit in three months when the numbers shift. Two different jobs.

What's the difference between the £14.99 Pro Report and the iOS Pro subscription?

The £14.99 Pro Report is a single PDF you buy once — verdict, math, action plan, generated for your specific numbers. LadderIQ Pro on iOS (from £3.99/month) gives you 5 of the same Pro Report each month, plus side-by-side deal comparison, saved scenarios, the Buy-to-Let yield calculator, and AI Coach expanded to 50 questions/day. The basic calculators (mortgage, stamp duty, affordability, LTV, overpayment, remortgage) are free on both surfaces. If you want one answer right now, the £14.99 report is right. If you're remortgage-shopping over weeks or months, iOS Pro is right.

Why are 'Compare two deals' and 'Save scenarios' free on web but Pro on iOS?

Pre-launch honest answer: the web has no subscription mechanism yet — we'd need to build Stripe Subscriptions and account infra. iOS has Apple's StoreKit built in, so we gate there. If you're shopping actively, iOS gives you cross-session continuity (saved scenarios) and one-tap deal comparison; the web works for stateless quick checks. We may add web subscriptions post-launch and align the gates.

Why is iOS Pro yearly £24.99 when the web report is £14.99?

They're not the same product. £14.99 buys one report on the web. £24.99/year on iOS buys up to 60 Pro Reports a year plus side-by-side deal comparison, saved scenarios, the Buy-to-Let calculator and 10× the AI Coach quota. Per-report it's roughly £0.42 — far cheaper if you'll use it more than once. We deliberately don't price-bump iOS to recover Apple's commission; the margin trade-off is ours to absorb.

What's actually in the report?

A 4–6 page PDF. Verdict (switch/wait/stay), break-even month, ERC schedule month-by-month, best deal types for your LTV, an overpay-vs-invest comparison with your tax band applied, and a written action plan including when to bring in an FCA-authorised broker. Generated by Claude using your specific numbers — not a template.

Do you send my data to a broker?

No. We don't have a broker partnership and we don't sell leads. The Pro Report is yours; you decide whether to take it to a broker. Lead-gen is something we may offer in future, with explicit consent and disclosure — never as the default.

What if the report's wrong?

We model the math; we don't recommend specific lender products. 14-day refund, no questions asked, if the report doesn't help you make a decision. Email hello@ladderiq.co.uk and we'll process it within 48 hours.

Is this regulated financial advice?

No. The report is a planning tool. Regulated advice — recommending a specific product to a specific person — comes from FCA-authorised mortgage brokers. The report tells you when to bring one in.
